We definitely need to make sure we are attending to all of our responsibilities. If Latter-day Saints don't awaken to our awful situation and uphold their civic duty we will lose the freedom to uphold our religious duties and beliefs.

I actually have more of a desire and now put much more effort into bringing people to Christ than I did before I understood our civic responsibilities and recognized our awful situation.

Warning: Any LDS who actually do take this commandment seriously, and thus discover that the war in Iraq and Afganistan was instigated as a result of a "false flag" event, namely the destruction of the WTC, had better keep such knowledge to himself. Otherwise he will probably find himself in hot water with his local priesthood leaders and considered a nut case.

In my efforts to promote the messages given in this article and others here to members of our ward and stake, I keep getting another message back from the stake leadership with whom I have tried to interest in these principles. That message is that we should focus our attention and efforts on the things the current church leadership is stressing: bringing people to Christ or back to Christ, as the case may be, temple readiness and attendance, home and visiting teaching, and genealogy work. This is frustrating to me because I see a real need to prepare a remnant that will, after the cleansing of America, be able to restore gospel and constitutional principles to government, eventually world wide. Yet I see no preparation for this, unless I am missing someting. I see commandments given in our Doctrine & Covenants and Book of Mormon being ignored. Like we are on holiday from our duty to honour freedom and constitutional principles, and to awake ourselves and others to our "awful situation". I have no reason to fault the stake president because I believe the Lord could inspire him to devote a little time to these issues. But he has made it clear to me that "this is not the time" for that. "Prophetic Priorities" is the expression used to justify the current almost total focus on bringing people to Christ or back to Christ, temple readiness and attendance, home and visiting teaching, and genealogy work

In our Scriptures I can find only 2 staatements that I consider a commandment Re. the US Constitution. In the Preface to D&C 98, it states: "The saints are to befriend the constitutional law of the land." And in 98:6 is written "I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land." But I find otherwise good members who think the wording of these 2 statements is such that they are not commandments, but something less than an actual commandment. I think some, especially the many who were not around in the days of President's McKay' Clark, anad Benson, may assume we will get further instruction when the time is right. These same people think that the statements of past LDS prophets and apostles do not apply to our time.

According to Presidents J. Reuben Clark Jr. and Ezra Taft Benson, there is an ever increasing number of socialists being called into priesthood leadership positions in the Church. These prophets referred to such men as "ravening wolves" who teach "the precepts of men" that Nephi warned us about in 2nd Nephi 28:14. I have encountered a number of them over the years who were bishops and stake presidents. Not only were they unconcerned about attacks on the Constitution, they in fact referred to such prophets as David O. McKay, Heber J. Grant, J. Reuben Clark Jr. and Ezra Taft Benson as "right wing radicals", and they treated true Jeffersonian conservatives with disdain and contempt, even stooping so low as to falsely accuse them of creating contention in the ward, and then using that as an excuse to not sign their temple recommend. The wheat and the tares are truly being allowed to mature together now. All is not well in Zion.

Another reason, and probably the most significant, is the large numbers of socialists in priesthood leadership positions today, those whom Presidents J. Reuben Clark Jr. and Ezra Taft Benson referred to as "wolves within the flock" and "ravening Wolves". Such people do not recognize the existence of secret combinations, and have no regard for the Constitution.

That was a good response, John. I am finding that the commandment in the D&C to awake to a sense of our awful situation and suffer not that the murderous combinations get above us is not enough to awaken but a very few who are already awakened to some extent. Even President Packer's words about awakening to our awful situation in the article in the August Ensign (Pg 23) are taken by many as a warning only against conspiracies to destroy our religious belief and faith.

I have slowly become aware of my "awful situation" after about 18 months of research. I read the book, "Hiding in Plain Sight" by Ken Bowers (and a few others). Very good book. Mr. Bowers seemed very knowledgable about secret combinations, etc. He is a latter-day-saint, of course, and his work was commended by Dr. Cleon Skousen, who commented on Bower's book as one of the best written latter-day commentaries about secret combinations.

I have to say though, that I am very grateful to have come to a knowledge of secret combinations, the elite, some of their agendas and to know how to conduct my life (temporal preparedness like food storage, spiritual preparedness, etc.), which I should have done anyway, regardless of the knowledge I have now. I have also become more aware of the constitution and its divine origins. What an incredibly provident document! Such wisdom!

I am reminded, though, that what we need to feed our souls are the basics, like a real study of the scriptures, sincere pray, paying tithing, and attending the temple, etc. I commend those who have their food storage, continue with the endeavor of increasing his/her spiritual preparedness, and yet don't have a knowledge these things. I will always spread truth when people have an open mind, though.

The church is TRUE! Jesus is the Christ and will return. In that I have hope and faith!

All these videos are phenomenal. Is there a way to get them with the background music a little lower. I tried using them for a Family Home Evening and the speakers seemed to be competing with the background music. Just a thought. Thanks again for the effort you put in to this.

I as just introduced to this sight by a fellow Brother in Church. I can't tell you how happy it made me to find a LDS who was knowledgeable about the secret combinations (ruling international banking and corporate elites) that have taken over the governments of the Western World. This situation is but a intensification of the War over Agency in the Pre-Existance. There were no fence sitters in that war and their should be none in that same war today. It is not the responsibility of our Prophet, Seers and Revelators to rally the Saints against our totally corrupt government. I give Ron Paul a pass but no others. I believe they have knowingly sold their souls to Satan and his gang.

We needs not be commanded in all things. We need to educate ourselves, our wives and children and fellow Saints. "Our Awful Situation" is not spoken about by the majority of Priesthood Holders in my Stakes or Wards dispite the warnings of our prophets. Less than 15% of the Priesthood even have viable 72 hour kits yet a one year supply of survival equipment, rations and water purification devices. "I the Lord am bound when ye do what I say, but when ye do not what I say ye have no promise." By and large Christians are sitting on the fence of ignorancy and denial. I keep hearing the lame excuse of "All we need to do is follow our living prophet." With this logic they throw out the Scriptures and admonishments of past prophets who clearly saw our day and have warned us about our duties to protect and defend Liberty,Freedom, the Constitution and our own religion. We need to educate ourselves, get our own houses in order and then warn our neighbors. Thanks for you time and Patriotism!!!
