The purpose of LatterdayConservative.com is to help others become free through learning about freedom. We approach this from an LDS (mormon) perspective, using quotes, talks and articles by the prophets and other prominent Latter-day Saints.

We believe that rights come from God, and that governments were instituted of God for the benefit of man, in order to protect those rights. We believe the U.S. Constitution is a heavenly banner, inspired of God. To preserve liberty we must have a proper understanding of the principles of freedom, god-given rights and the proper role of government. This knowledge, for many, has opened up a new paradigm and outlook on life. They have, as Moroni termed it, awakened to their awful situation.
